The manifesto
Thread & Bone exists because we got tired of the two options: fast-fashion blanks that fall apart after three washes, or imported streetwear marked up beyond reason. We wanted something in between — heavyweight, garment-dyed essentials with clean design, made locally, priced honestly.
We started with a single oversized tee in 2024. Cut it, dyed it, wore it until it proved itself. Then we made more. Every piece in the collection has gone through the same test: if we wouldn't wear it daily, we don't sell it.
Phnom Penh is home. The energy of the city — the rawness, the creative chaos, the heat — runs through everything we make. This isn't streetwear for the sake of hype. It's clothing built to last, designed to look better the more you wear it.
Atelier
The process
Every garment is cut and sewn in our Phnom Penh atelier. We garment-dye in small batches — no two pieces are exactly identical. The fabrics are pre-shrunk heavyweight cotton, triple-stitched at stress points. We skip the branding overkill: one woven label at the neck, nothing else.
